Crucial conversations is described as “A discussion between two or more people where (1) stakes are high, (2) opinions vary, and (3) emotions run strong.” This course explains that when dialogue becomes crucial, people may avoid the conversation, become angry (go to violence), or, sometimes, face the conversation and not handle it well. But it doesn't have to be that way. If you know how to handle (even master) crucial conversations, you can step up to and effectively hold tough conversations about virtually any topic. This course teaches you the skills to handle & master these conversations. . 13.0 Contact Hours will be offered for this program. You must attend all 3 sessions of the program and complete an evaluation to receive contact hours.
