Gratitude For Christ Jesus suffered for us (1 Peter 4:1-2) He gave Himself for us (Titus 2:14) He tasted death for everyone (Heb. 2:9) Gratitude stands out (cf. Lk. 17:11-19) Ingratitude is a low sin “O, to grace how great a debtor daily I’m constrained to be (#420) Love begets love (1 Jn. 4:19)

We Have Already Indulged Enough In Sin Irony: More than enough time has already been given to ungodly living What is the end of these ungodly activities? (1 Peter 4:3; Rom. 6:21-23) Time spent in sin is wasted (Rom. 13:11-12)

Influence On Others Others WILL recognize a change (1 Peter 4:4) It is a TELLING and EFFECTIVE influence (Matt. 5:16-17) A “pattern of good works” (Titus 2:7, KJV)
