This little park is located in the vicinity of Ojai, CA at 11969 Creek Road, Ojai, CA. The Museum is across the street from Camp Comfort.

This is the museum which was a ranger station before it was abandoned by Ventura County.

The Ventura Club was preparing for their annual show in March.

The club members are considering holding a tailgate in this park in the future. In my opinion this little museum is a real asset for the Ventura Gem & Mineral Society and any donations to them would be highly appreciated. They have a very active program for kids whether home schooled or in public schools. It is comforting to know that the facility is being run by dedicated rockhounds and fossil lovers and not an academic institution. I hope that anyone wishing to donate any of their collections should sincerely consider this museum.
