We will be leaving school at 10:30 and will be back for lunch. Reading Eggs challenges have been set for you to Help you develop your comprehension skills. BOOK TALK- Text to Self Over the weekend, I would like you to choose a book that you are reading at home and discuss the following prompts… ‘I can connect to (your chosen book) because…. I understand how (a character) felt because…. This story reminds me of when I…. On Monday, you will be finally getting your opportunity to write your independent write for a descriptive character profile. This week in class, the writing has been exceptional and you are all become really confident at using thesauruses and dictionaries which it wonderful to see. In preparation for your INDEPENDENT write next week, I would like you to collect vocabulary to describe Fern from Charlotte’s Web. I cant wait to read them! Groovy Grammar Challenge For your grammar homework this weekend, I would like you to write as many descriptive sentences as you can to describe a character from Charlotte’s Web. They must contain because to justify your chosen adjective. Wilbur is loyal because no matter how long Fern leaves him alone at Mr Zuckerman’s farm, he never forgets her.
