Mathletics Certificates On Tuesday next week, Willow class will be taking their annual trip down to Croft House residential home to sing Christmas Carols to the residents. It is an annual tradition and it is always a lovely thing to do to make someone else smile at this time of year. You can come in a Christmas jumper or Christmas hat to get us into the festive spirit. On Monday, you will be finally getting your opportunity to write your independent write for a descriptive character profile. This week in class, the writing has been exceptional and you are all become really confident at using thesauruses and dictionaries which it wonderful to see. In preparation for your INDEPENDENT write next week, I would like you to collect vocabulary to describe Fern from Charlotte’s Web. I cant wait to read them! Groovy Grammar Challenge For your grammar homework this weekend, I would like you to write as many descriptive sentences as you can to describe a character from Charlotte’s Web. They must contain because to justify your chosen adjective. Wilbur is loyal because no matter how long Fern leaves him alone at Mr Zuckerman’s farm, he never forgets her.
