1. be going to Maybe it is going to be hot again tomorrow. It is used for predictions and guesses. Maybe it is going to be hot again tomorrow. Kevin: How was your final. 2. will It is used for predictions, determinations and promises. Tony will get married when he finds the right woman. I will learn English. I will love you forever. It is used when you decide to do some- thing in the future at the moment you are speaking. Do you want to take a break? No, I’ll take it later.

3. Present Progressive It is used for future intentions or plans already made. We are moving to Texas next year. Are you coming to class tomorrow? Yes. I will be here.

4. Simple Present It is used for schedule plans in the future. Kathy works tomorrow from 9:00 to 5:00. The bus leaves at 3:00 p.m.

When to use the future progressive?

1. It is used to talk about actions that will be in progress at a specific time in the future. Peter will be looking for a job next month. Rosie is going to be running this Sunday. What are you going to be doing next year? Where will you be living? Note: Will be + ving is used more often than be going to be + ving.

2. The future progressive with will be + ving is used to ask questions more politely. Will you be going home soon? Will your husband be helping you?
