ODV files - issues Crucial Mismatch between header and semantic header Missing parameters in header Missing tabs in line (line is discarded) We are getting better! Not crucial Old labels: P011, P061 Parameter names Empty columns Missing quality flag for Depth Incorrect primary variable LOCAL_CDI_ID duplicates Annual meeting, Roskilde 6-7 February 2018

Thoughts, ideas and questions How to handle (integrated) chlorophyll? Also in EMODnet Biology Often represented with min and max depth (integrated) . Included in main collection by taking the average depth Suggestion to make Diva-product with all data between 0-10 meters (set depth to 0). NO3 or NO2+NO3? NO3 is expected to be NO2+NO3 if NO2 is not present This should be clearer It’s preferable to include salinity and temperature in the ODV files. 6-year average for Diva products (MSFD) Will the coverage be enough?
