HIGH ENDURANCE ENGINE DURABILITY TEST DIESEL ENGINE OIL QUALITY

Test Parameters Test: Accelerated Endurance Engine Test Test Site & Date: Independent test lab: April & May of 2006 Engine: GM 6.5L Diesel Fluid Temps: Coolant Out: 210F Oil Sump: 260F Fuel Temp: 100 – 120F Test Cycle: 2 rated rpm and 100% load followed by 1 idle speed and 0% load Repeated cycles for duration of the test Baseline Engine test; followed by Engine test w/ OilMate operating No oil changes during the test Oil samples taken every 14 hours to test engine oil quality Baseline engine test terminated at 196 hours because oil quality deteriorated Engine test with OilMate passed 420 hour test limit
