Of Us Have Special Needs The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time Shows That All Of Us Have Special Needs

Task one: Ross and Chris Explain the topic.

Everyone has Special Needs. Without Conditions, but with Special Needs What are Special Needs? Everyone has Special Needs. Without Conditions, but with Special Needs Unique Needs Needs Special

Task 2: Liam and Noah Putting together the body of the essay.

Point One: Christopher isn’t the only character in the book that has special needs. I believe that they would agree with this because Christopher goes to a special needs school for people who have mental disabilities. Meaning there are many kids that have specials needs just like him. Point Two: Christopher’s father is the only nice person in the book. I think that they would agree with this statement because throughout the book I’ve noticed that everyone in the book just hates everyone else. Mr and Mrs Shears for example. Mr Sheers drives to Swindon throws Christopher’s mother’s belongings on the front lawn and yells out “don’t bother fucking coming back”. Mrs Shears says to Christopher’s mother “you’ve got some fucking nerve coming back here” etc. Christopher’s father is the only person in the book that is actually nice in mine and I’m sure many others opinion. Point Three: Christopher’s mother isn’t a very responsible parent. I’m not sure what they would think here, it would probably go both ways because she was a good parent when she left Christopher without even telling him and expecting that a letter every week would settle it. However her looking after Christopher and coming back to Swindon and sorting attempting to sort things out, I think was very responsible. So it could go either way with my groups opinion.

Task 3: Emma and Bec Give quotes about the book to do with the topic, all of us have special needs.

I rolled back onto the lawn and pressed my forehead to the ground again and made a noise that father calls groaning.(page 8) The policeman looked at me for a while without speaking. Then he said , I am arresting you for assaulting a police officer. This made me feel a lot calmer because it is what policemen say on television and in films. (page 11) He held up his right hand and spread his fingers out in a fan. I held up my hand and spread my fingers into a fan and we made our fingers and thumbs touch each other. We do this because sometimes father wants to give me a hug ,but I do not like hugging people .(page 21) It such a long time since I wrote my last letter to you because it’s been hard work packing up all our things and then unpacking them and then getting used to this new job. (page 137) I doubled 2’s in my head because it made me feel calmer. (page 49) I cooked his meals .i cleaned his clothes. I looked after him every weekend .i looked after him when he was ill. I took him to the doctor. I worried myself sick every time he wandered if somewhere at night . I went to school every time he got into a fight .And you? what? you wrote him some fucking letters. (page 240)

Thank you!! Thank you!!
