Research Objective To measure the effectiveness of the supplementary reading programme from the point of view of the stakeholders - teachers and students

Instruments for TOT Teacher questionnaire Reflection Sheet To build a profile for each teacher on current practices To be completed in Day 1. Reflection Sheet Guiding questions to elicit the teacher’s reflective thoughts on the TOT. The reflection sheet is in the research booklet. There are 4 sheets for 4 tracts. To be completed after the presentation of each tract. TOT Evaluation Form To get feedback from teachers on TOT To be completed on Day 3

Post -TOT instruments Student Questionnaire Teachers, please distribute to each student between Aug 11- 13 2015. Reflection in blog/journal for teachers and students (www.ylmc.info) Please use the blogs to record your thoughts and ideas on how the lessons went in your classrooms. Be as honest as you can as your ideas will help us improve the programme for the benefit of all. Get your students to do the same and keep a written journal of their thoughts and ideas of each lesson in the student textbook after each tract. Document Analysis – Teacher and Student Textbooks Feel free to make notes and comments in the textbooks. We will collect these at the end of the programme.
