How to request Letters of Recommendation through Naviance.

Sign into your Naviance account Sign into your Naviance account. On the home page click on the ‘Colleges’ tab at the top right of the screen.

A dropdown box will appear. Click on the ‘Apply to College’ tab.

Now click on the ‘Letters of Recommendation’ tab.

Click on the ‘Add Request’ tab.

First select a teacher. (A dropdown list will appear.) Next, make sure this circle is checked. Include a quick note of thanks to your teacher, then ‘Submit Request’.

Once a request has been made, the teachers names and status of the recommendation will be shown.

The status of the recommendation will be shown in one of four ways. Your request for teacher recommendations is now complete.
