Lesson 10 To Canaan!

The Israelites wandered the Sinai Desert for 40 years, waiting until the disobedient generation died. CANAAN EGYPT SINAI

It was a hard life, but God provided for them—with water, manna, quail, keeping their clothes new, etc.

Finally, it was time to go to Canaan—the Promised Land

Moses will die before going to Canaan so Joshua is chosen by God as the new leader

The Israelites must fight the Canaanites who are in the land.

When they obey God, they are successful.

When they disobey God, they fail in battle against their enemies.

After a lot of fighting, the Israelites claimed most of the land of Canaan for themselves.

The land was divided between the 12 tribes.
