Summary of a MAP portfolio To assess the extent to which map portfolio data matches existing data on S&M. Calvin Asset Management provided their “supplierless” portfolio. Calvin provided MPRN, MSN, meter model Xoserve assessed this against the S&M records

“Supplierless” results… There were 19967 MPRNs with a live confirmation 12029 of 19967 have a MSN exact match, although more matched when leading zeros removed. No evidence of “made up” serial number 165 of 19967 have no meter asset attached (of these 128 show as a meter removal (17 exact match on MSN, remainder were not an exact match – this may suggest a new meter has been installed but Shippers have not updated the records) and 37 show as no asset ever attached – suggesting an asset update is on its way)

…. “Supplierless” results 18896 of 19967 have meter capacity below 11 cubic metres 881 records were isolated and withdrawn (did not have a live confirmation).

Conclusions Having reviewed the data Xoserve considers there is a high match to MSN and therefore the exercise has demonstrated a positive case and that the output is of value both to the MAP and Supplier organisations
