Music Magazine photo shoots for double page spread and contents

Jason pointing and looking upwards I used this photo for my contents page. I planned this photo before I went to take it, I wanted it specifically like this as there was a space that I needed to fill I I wanted him to be pointing to the story he was involved in which was directly above him in my final contents page. I lassoed the background as I thought the original background wasn’t aesthetically pleasing and used a blue colour to make Jason stand out

Jason looking away I used this photo in my double page spread, this photo was also planned as the story was about a fight and a breakup of a band and Jason was the departure, this is why I wanted him facing away as he would be the person on the far right with the other 2 band members facing forwards. By doing this I tried to make it seem as though they could tell that Jason was leaving just from the photos. I also lassoed Jason from the background again.

Jay facing forwards This is the shot of jay that I got which I used on my contents page also. This shot was not planned but I used it as I felt it fat the advertised story well. I had the story go across Jays waist. I also cloned the image and had it facing the other way so I could have more room the fit the text

Jake facing diagonally This photo was also not planned. I chose to use this photo of Jake as I thought he showed frustration and the story related to frustration also the way he faces also worked well with the angle Jason was facing in the double page spread this could symbolize a fight in the band
