Requirements Students will create a mosaic picture can choose the material (but must be made with ONLY 1 material) Paper is the most common Actual mosaics can be made Tile or glass Must be at least 8 1/2 x 11 and be completely covered in the material you've chosen. Must be multicolored and be completely covered. Consider the background color as the grout color between the pieces. Must be neat and fully dry when turned in. There is to be no drawing or coloring to add accent lines, should all be done in the material of choice. There should be no overlap on any of the pieces and the gap between pieces should be consistent and small. Pieces should probably be about the size of your fingertip. Will be graded on neatness and difficulty.
