Using the Internet for Instruction and Remediation RCS Inservice Spring 2017 Problem: How to do individual remediation Solution: Use online resources 1) Work with your PLC team to locate free online resources from across the internet for each state objective. 2) Organize these resources for easy student access. Examples: notes, videos, study guides, assessments, etc. 3) Get your most tech-savvy teacher to post these resources on their Edlio webpage. 4) Devise a simple standardized approach for student remediation using these online resources Example: 1) Take notes, 2) Watch video, 3) Do study guide 5) Teach your students how to use your website for this. 6) Require students to use your website for remediation before you allow them to retake any assessment.

Student writes down two key points from each slide. Task 02: Student views one or my linked YouTube video clips. Student writes down five key points from the video. Task 03: Student completes my online study guide. Redo: After completing these three tasks, student is required to redo the assessment (or an alternate assessment).
