The benefits of reconciliation with God Romans 5:1-5 KNOW GOD, KNOW PEACE The benefits of reconciliation with God Romans 5:1-5

We have: Therefore, since we have been JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH

We have : we have PEACE WITH GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:21-22 (NIV) Once you were alienated from God …  But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

We have: through whom we have gained ACCESS by faith into this GRACE in which we now stand.

We can now: Colossians 2:13-15 (NIV) When you were dead in your sins …  And we BOAST/REJOICE in the HOPE OF THE GLORY OF GOD. Colossians 2:13-15 (NIV) When you were dead in your sins … God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,  14 having cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness,  which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities,  he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

We can now: Not only so, but we also BOAST/REJOICE IN OUR SUFFERINGS, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.  Numbers 23:19 (CEV) 19 God is no mere human! He doesn’t tell lies or change his mind. God always keeps his promises.

We can now: Experience loving connection with God And hope does not put us to shame, because GOD’S LOVE has been POURED OUT INTO OUR HEARTS through the HOLY SPIRIT, who has been given to us.
