How do you multiply mixed numbers? Introduction If you don’t know how to multiply mixed numbers than here are some easy steps that you can follow to learn how to. You will be able to learn how to multiply mixed numbers once you read these three easy steps. How do you multiply mixed numbers?

STEP ONE First, make the mixed numbers into improper fractions. You do that by multiplying the whole number with the denominator and adding the numerator with the answer you got. ∙ ∙ ∙ Stay in school kids!

STEP TWO Next, you multiply the fractions, numerator to numerator and denominator to denominator. You will have an improper fraction. = ∙ Oh, now we get it!

And that’s how you do it guys!! STEP THREE Change the improper fraction into a mixed number. You do that by dividing the numerator by the denominator. Finally, you are FINISHED!!! = And that’s how you do it guys!!
