College of Science and Engineering Research & Business Development Team Lynne Brown David Nisbet Linsey Robertson (Maternity leave) In March 2015 the College Management Group approved the College Research Strategy. The Strategy was led by David Cumming (as Dean of Research) and Research Champions from each of our Schools. The Strategy has three objectives Objective 1: Quality and Research Impact Objective 2: Research Grant Support Objective 3: Internationalisation I’m going to briefly cover Research Grant Support.

Research Grant Support College of Science and Engineering Objective increase the participation levels of R&T staff in winning research funding so that they can improve both the quantity and the quality of their research. How we can help: Support for fellowship applications Support for strategic grants Guidance and input for Pathways to Impact Support for grant writing Rewards for excellence Advanced Researcher Development Programme Encourage staff to join peer review college etc.
