Who is SUE HENDRICKSON Susan ‘’Sue’’ Hendrickson is an American paleontologist. Sue is a self-taught fossil hunter. Hendrickson is best known for her discovery of the Tyrannosaurus rex in South Dakota on August 12th 1990. The dinosaur Sue

T-rex named Sue What Hendrickson found was the largest and most complete t-rex found to date. The t-rex is 42 ft. long, with 200 bones preserved, including the longest t-rex tooth found- it’s a foot long! Because the skeleton is so complete, scientists have been able to learn new things about the t-rex. For example, one of the bones discovered was Sue’s wishbone which was similar to a bird. This supports the theory that modern birds evolved or are related to dinosaurs.

What are Dinosaurs... Dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals of the clade Dinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, 231.4 million years ago, and were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for 135 million years! Now that you know the facts about dinosaurs...

Now presenting... the Suchomimus Suchomimus is a genus of large spinosaurid with a crocodile-like that lived between 121-113 million years ago, during the late Aptian stage of the Cretaceous period in Niger, Africa. The terrifying Suchomimus

My Goodness! More FACTS! Size & Weight: about 35 ft. long & 5 tons Diet: Fish & Meat Distinguishing characteristics Long, crocodilian snout with backward-pointing teeth; long arms; ridge on back
