Writing Choose a writing prompt from the March writing calendar Spend time editing/ revising once you have finished your piece Math: Place Value We will review how to read and write numbers to 1,000 using base ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. We will also review skip counting by 5’s, 10’s, 100’s, and comparing 3 digit numbers using the <, >, and = symbols. Math IXL Greg Tang math website – games – funny numbers – base ten do addition and subtraction Writing: Opinion Writing We will edit and revise our writing pieces by using a checklist to ensure we have included the following: introducing the topic, stating an opinion, supplying reasons that support the opinion, using linking words and providing a closing statement.
