A B The Upper Beach The Lower Beach Cheung Sha a 3 Km stretch of beach on the south side of Lantao Island the longest beach in Hong Kong On Friday 2015 Sept 04, I walked from A to B

Here I am at A , standing on a lifeguard tower This is B , where I am heading Here I am at A , standing on a lifeguard tower

The Upper Beach has stronger waves and undercurrents

..but it also has some nice weird rocks

Not too many people in the Upper Beach Only a few lone sunbathers

White fine sand throughout No lie It’s just that my eyes are blurry

It’s better now In focus!

Feet in water It is cool

Surely cool

Further down towards the Lower Beach

The sand sinks here It’s wiser to cross inland

Oh, paragliding! Down from the Sunset Peak (Tai Tung Shan) ?

How carefree

Happy landing

Finally….the Lower Beach

….where the water is more calm

And there’s more going on here

Children at play

Restaurants and pubs

And even the cows’ home

It is nice to relax out here

However, In no time…. The (last) cow comes home So……

It is time to say goodbye
