Google Analytics You need to know what is driving traffic to your blog HQ provides you with Visitors, Unique visitors, and pageviews to your chapter site each month You need to go deeper! https://www.google.com/analytics Sign in using gmail You have access to your chapter site

New Terminology on GA Sessions = Visitors Users = Unique visitors Duplication (repeat visits) Users = Unique visitors - Eyeballs, each person counted once Pageviews = Pageviews - Cumulative number of pageviews (duplication)

Topline Overview Sessions, Users, Pageviews

Behaviour Click on Behaviour/Overview and then Page title

Top Pageviews Click on ‘view full report’ to see top pageviews (10 per page)

Traffic Source Scroll to find your top blog posts (by title) Click on the post you want to dig in deeper This screen shows pageviews, average time on page, bounce rate
