Then you need to… Look on the website at courses that interest you Open Evenings – go and have a look round! Attend school-based information sessions – assemblies, ISD speakers and drop-in sessions Start to get information about ALL settings that interest you Speak to other people – friends, family, other students

Making an application… Fill in the form with ALL the required information You use your PREDICTED GRADES for an application Attendance % from your FT or Mentor Exam cycle: write ‘May/June 2017’ SELL YOURSELF – what is going to set your application apart? Return via email / post / drop in in person KEEP CHECKING YOUR EMAILS! You may be invited for an interview – this is completely normal!

What next…? Providers will contact you – by phone or by email You will have a careers interview soon We will keep a log of your applications in a spread-sheet. Keep us informed of interviews and offers of places! Wirral Met and The Sixth Form College will be running lunch-time drop in sessions on a 2 weekly rotation.
