These are flips, slides, turns, and enlargements/reductions. TRANSFORMATIONS Transformations are line reflections, translations, rotations, and dilations. These are flips, slides, turns, and enlargements/reductions.

LINE REFLECTIONS Line reflections “FLIP” a figure. A reflection maps every point of the pre-image to an image point over the line of reflection that is the perpendicular bisector of the segment connecting the pre-image and image point. Line reflections are RIGID MOTIONS(transformations that keep the same size and angle measure). There are 4 simple rules to follow when reflecting over 4 lines in the coordinate plane, which we will be looking at on next 4 slides.
