Girl Power! How Young Women Impacted the Holocaust

Goals: Learn about: new heroes (heroines) roles women played in the Holocaust Define and Identify: Perpetrator, Victim, Bystander, Upstander

A person who commits an illegal, criminal or evil act The Perpetrator A person who commits an illegal, criminal or evil act

The Victim A person who suffers from a destructive or injurious action of another Gypsy prisoners at Belzec awaiting instructions

The Bystander A person who is present but not involved, an onlooker

The Upstander A person who is present and takes action to ensure a positive outcome Soldiers liberate prisoner at Dachau
