Fats Keeps you body warm Causes weight gain Not good if you have to much Types: monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat Sources: oil, butter, Mc Donald's, nuts, hot dogs

Fiber Evens out blood sugars Keeps blood flowing Helps digest your food Types: soluble ( dissolves in water) - insoluble ( doesn't dissolve in water) Sources: bran, nuts, fruits, vegetables and meats

Vitamins and Minerals Definition: organic components in food Supports your growth Sun gives you vitamin D Keeps away colds and flues E.g. vitamin A, B, C, D, and E Sources: fruit, vegetables, smoothes
