Presentation transcript:

Campaigns sans frontiers: using Engaging Networks to effectively manage supporter journeys in a devolved setting Health, education, animal welfare and the environment. If you work in one of these sectors for a UK organisation chances are you'll be familiar with the challenges of campaigning across borders with different laws and different law makers - but often with one set of supporters that doesnt differentiate between them. As an organisation that covers England and Wales, the RSPCA has been on a journey to adapt its campaigning practices to fit into the reality of devolution, using Engaging Networks features at its core to maximise the campaigning clout of supporters. Find out from Martin what they’ve achieved to date in this presentation.

Solution? Two principles: Supporters are always encouraged to act most locally to them first, then elsewhere if possible. Supporters should always be clear in which country the change that they are being asked to be part of will relate to.

Method Using the correct terminology on all copy. always using page-1 postcode-based redirects in Engaging Networks to identify a supporters location, and redirecting them to a location chosen by the relevant campaign manager for that country.
