Economist: Why the bull market has a lot more room to run The bull market has a lot more room to run. With the Trump administration and GOP Congress deconstructing investment-killing business regulations and aiming to cut taxes, the economy is poised to grow faster, and new technologies will support higher valuations over the next several years. Supporting prospects for bigger profits, the energy and manufacturing sectors are becoming more efficient. With oil prices recovering to the low $50 range, oil and gas drilling has increased significantly since May. And manufacturing is posting more gains—to supply that industry and others—despite a stronger dollar. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/03/09/economist-why-bull-market-has-lot-more-room-to-run.html First 100 Days: 3/9

First 100 Days Part Three: 3/10 South Korean Leader OUSTED on charges of CORRUPTION SEOUL, South Korea — South Korea's disgraced President Park Geun-hye was formally removed from power Friday after the country's Constitutional Court unanimously upheld her impeachment for corruption and influence peddling. The ruling opens the 65-year-old fallen president up to possible criminal proceedings. It also sparked angry protests from Park supporters in which two people were killed, police said. About 30 protesters and police officers were hurt in violent clashes, according to authorities. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/south-korea-s-president-removed-power-after-impeachment-n731591 First 100 Days Part Three: 3/10

McConnell hits brakes on tax reform, despite bullish Trump team Always the policy bridesmaid, tax reform once again is taking a back seat as Congress debates ObamaCare repeal legislation. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Thursday played down expectations that any tax package can be completed before the August recess, despite Trump administration vows to pursue “historic” legislation soon. “I think finishing on tax reform will take longer,” the Kentucky Republican said in aPolitico Playbook interview. “We do have to finish the health care debate … before we go to taxes.” First 100 Days: 3/10

Dennis Kucinich: I'm no fan of Trump's but he's got a point about wiretapping President Trump’s assertion that his phones at Trump Tower were tapped last year has been treated as hilarious—and in some circles as beyond contempt. But I can vouch for the fact that extracurricular surveillance does occur, regardless of whether it is officially approved. I was wiretapped in 2011 after taking a phone call in my congressional office from a foreign leader. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/03/10/dennis-kucinich-im-no-fan-trumps-but-hes-got-point-about-wiretapping.html First 100 Days: 3/10
