Refute Means to say “it ain’t so.”

Defend Means to say: “It is so”

Qualify Means to say: “Well I can see why it is or is not, but there are some exceptions to what appears to be a simple issue.

Refute I am hands down against having a pet Tarantula.

Defend Tarantulas are misunderstood, and fascinating creatures.

Qualify Generally speaking, I don’t think Tarantulas should be domesticated; however, I do think they would make a wonderful new addition to my proposed tourist attraction: “The Carrollton Animal Fighting Zoo.”
