Prevention of Bacterial Resistance Antimicrobial resistance allows bacteria to withstand previously effective treatments Overuse of antibiotics has caused widespread resistance Jacob

Prevention of Bacterial Resistance Resistance can be prevented by Not using antibiotics for viral infections Using antibiotics only when prescribed by a doctor

Measles A viral infection that is serious for children but preventable by a vaccine In 2011 about 158,000 deaths from measles Richard
