3G’s Scientists: Writing: Math News LANGUAGE aRTS: Students will work within groups to find nonfiction text features. The students will continue to analyze text for the various nonfiction text features discussed in mini lessons. Each students will research penguins to publish a book displaying facts and nonfiction text features from the unit of study. 3G’s Scientists: In Science, students will use many different materials to understand mixtures. We will work with our science groups to complete many exciting experiments! Math News Writing: Students will move into our next unit and focus on fractions. The students will continue to work on Brain Drops to assist with open ended math responses. Continue to practice your multiplication facts daily. Please use your flashcards, games, and log on to Dream Box to help strengthen math skills each day! Use our fun clues to help remember those tricky facts! The students will continue to write L.A.T. (Literary Analysis Task) and R.S.T. (Research Simulation Tasks). We will continue to use our binders, notes, and Chromebooks to help publish final drafts.
