CHILD RIGHTS LAUNCHPAD PARTICIPATION DATA

LAUNCH We sent an email announcing the Launch to 142 pre-registered people. We had 262 opens from 60 different people – an open rate of 42.3%. 44 people clicked somewhere in the email. Within the first week, we had more than 22 Adult Guides sign up. We sent to 152 – 10 were undeliverable Over half of those who clicked through signed up in first week

NOW 60 Adult Guides have signed up. 185 child accounts. Some comms around Launch, and is featured on Game On – has been picked up elsewhere (Centre for Excellence) but haven’t promoted more than this.

SETTINGS - ADULTS 32 from primary schools. 5 from secondary schools 2 from a special school 10 from early years settings 11 from out of school settings Secondary schools - (including 2 academies and 2 high schools) Special school - (primary and secondary) Early years – (6 from nurseries, 1 children’s centre, 3 child minders) 27 RRS, 13 non-RRS – with at least one member of staff signed up, some schools have multiple adult accounts

SETTINGS - CHILDREN 28 from primary schools. 162 from secondary schools 2 from a special school 5 from early years settings 3 from out of school settings Some adults using single account with whole class – so we don’t have an accurate metric of the number of children. Have removed ‘adult’ accounts from this number. Special school – (primary and secondary) Early years – (3 from nurseries; 1 from children’s centre; 1 through a child minder)

GEOGRAPHY Adults signed up 23 local authorities. Children signed up in 10 local authorities. 23/32 10/32

ANALYTICS 29,051 page views. Bounce rate is good – 19.89% Session time is good compared to other sites – 12.21 minutes – but we would still want this to be higher. High number of children completing at least 1 mission (228 signed up, 205 completing at least one mission) Most are coming to the site directly (via a link), but a significant number clicking on from another site or searching for the site. Number of people arriving on the site from social media is surprisingly high. Digital team at UUK very positive Typical bounce rate 40-50% (arrive on site, almost instantly ‘bounce’ off) 802 of 1322 visits ‘direct’, 173 ‘referral’, 131 through organic search, 78 ‘social’

PROMOTION Now want to actively promote – what are the best ways of doing this?
