Signing Up To See Your Counselor COME ON DOWN! See Mrs. Rawa in the Counseling Office and she will make an appointment that works out best for you and your class schedule.

What can my Counselor help me with?

GUIDANCE Counselors track your class credits & grades Provide information on how to get tutoring or progress reports Facilitate career tests Assist you in career and college planning

Counseling Help students transition to high school, college, work Communicate with students, teachers and parents Help students problem solve Help students deal with conflict that takes place with friends, teachers, or family

Confidentiality What you share with your counselor is confidential. Exceptions are if there is potential harm to yourself or anyone else, or if abuse is suspected.

Making Up Lost Credits What can you do? Take Adult Education evening classes if you are 16 years of age by Sept. 1 Correspondence courses through the mail or online. Homework Habits Homework can make it or break it! It is important to do your homework carefully and completely. If you do not understand or comprehend some material- don’t ignore it! Ask or get help! What are your strengths? What are your areas that need improvement?
