1961 Hemingway Eichmann Stranger in a Strange land Dylan Berlin Invasion at Bays of Pigs

Hemingway He was a Famous Writer. Liked to portray solider, hunters, bullriders,tough,etc. Lived 1899-1961. Committed suicide in 1961. Wrote “The Sun also Rises”, “A Farewell to Arms", and “For Whom the Bell Tolls”.

Eichmann Adolf Eichmann was a Nazi leader. He was in charge of Nazi death camps. He escaped to Argentina in 1940 he was found 20 years later by Israelites. He was hung in 1961.

Stranger in a Strange land A book that was about a boy named Valentine Michael Smith raised on mars by Martians and returned to earth in early adult hood. Where people like his alien philosophy. Published in 1961. Written by Richard Heinlein. Won the 1962 Hugo award.

Bob Dylan Probably the most influential folk and rock music artist for 40 years. His real name was Robert Zimmerman. Wrote famous songs like Blowing’ in the wind, Mr. Tambourine man, and Like a Rolling Stone.

The Berlin Wall The Berlin wall was starting to be built in August 1961. This wall was so that people east Berlin couldn’t enter west Berlin. They evacuated people from houses so they could build the walls in west territory.

Bay of Pigs invasion An unsuccessful act to overthrow the communist government of Cuba. Only four American soldiers died. John F. Kennedy took full responsibility for they Bay Of Pigs attack.
