Hillsborough City Council Meeting June 13, 2016 Ordinance Amending Hillsborough Municipal Code Sections 13.16.010 and 13.16.040 and subsection 13.16.050.A Regarding Water Conservation - Adoption Agenda Item 11 Purpose of Amendment Eliminate the existing Mandatory water rationing and penalties Transition to 10% Voluntary Conservation

SFPUC would have sufficient supply to meet the average annual demand of 2013-2014 over the next three years with a repeat of water year 2013-2015 hydrology with no shortages necessary for any SFPUC customers SFPUC is requesting its customers maintain a 10% voluntary reduction from 2013 use.

Section 13.16.070 Maintains certain water waste prohibitions Makes others mandatory only during water rationing Includes newly added irrigation regs for new homes
