Personal Development plan (PDP)

The cycle of analysis is the process you will follow in each new activity to develop your performance. Cycle of analysis

Development programme For your Portfolio you will have to develop a personal development plan for two factors that has a negative impact on performance. Reasons why you chose this particular plan should also be detailed within you portfolio Development programme

Development programme Once you have gathered all the appropriate data on your performance (with the help of the data sheets) you should now be able to work out your own strengths and weaknesses in badminton. Development programme

Read over your gathering data booklet and using the skills checklist or scattergraph to look at the physical factor (factor 1) Name a strength in your performance Name a development need (weakness) in your performance Task 1

Read over your gathering data booklet and using the SCAT, POMS or questionnaires, look at either an emotional or mental factor (factor 2) Name a strength in your performance (factor 2) Name a development need (weakness) in factor 2 Task 2

With reference to this data, identify an appropriate target for each factor. (i) Identified target for factor 1 (ii) Identified target for factor 2 2 marks in total: 1 mark for each factor Targets for factor 1 and 2

Area of performance for development:   Approach Week Factor 1 Factor 2 1 2 3 4 5 6 PDP – task 1 fill out your PDP from your candidate booklet. Make sure you have a variety of different approaches to help train and improve your development needs. Are they appropriate to the stages of learning??
