Furthermore, the prime concern of this school district and its representatives shall be the welfare of students and school-related personnel. The Board prohibits students from using, possessing, distributing, and being under the influence of any controlled substances during school hours, on school property, and at any school-sponsored event. Possession of drug paraphernalia is also prohibited. Students are considered to be participating in a school-sponsored event from the moment the trip leaves campus until the moment the buses return. FAQ Can/Should we pack an Xbox, PS4, Atari 2800, etc? No. Really? But I want to. Is there a pool? Yes… but it is outdoor so probably not. Will the hotel have WIFI ? Yes, the hotel says it offers free wifi. How do we make sure students are safe/secure in the Hotel? Along with chaperone supervision, we have specific hired security during our hotel times to make sure students are safe and in their rooms all night and are not disturbed. How much extra money should I bring? This is a family to family decision, but minimally please make considerations for buying meals each day. What time will we be back on Sunday? Probably around 8 PM. We will encourage students to text with any changes.
