They want to turn all of the tokens in for candy prizes. If each candy prize requires 8 tokens, how many pieces of candy can they get?

Answer: 50 candy prizes 289 tokens + 113 tokens = 402 total tokens 402 tokens ÷ 8 tokens per candy prize = 50 R2 These 2 remaining tokens are not enough for another piece of candy….. Therefore, they will need to save them for the next time they go to Dave and Busters. Answer: 50 candy prizes

If each border requires 18 bricks, will Mrs. Witt have enough to put a border around each flower garden? Will there be any left in case she wants to make another flower garden?.

Answer: Yes. Mrs. Witt has enough bricks for 5 flower gardens 92 bricks ÷ 5 gardens = 18 R2 bricks per garden OR 18 x 5 = 90. Only 90 bricks are needed for the 5 flower gardens. Since there are a total of 92 bricks, there are 2 extra. Answer: Yes. Mrs. Witt has enough bricks for 5 flower gardens She will have 2 bricks left.
