BOOKS I’VE READ BY MARK SALZMAN Iron Silk Lying Awake True Notebooks Publish in 1986 Published in 2000 Published in 2003 Iron And Silk explains Mark Salzman’s (the author’s) activities while living in China. It takes you through all of his experiences like the people he met and the places he went to see while he was a young author exploring the ways of China. Lying Awake is about a true story of a sister nun who loves art and sadly knows she has a brain disorder. Her brain disorder forces her to go against her religion to survive. True Notebooks is about several true stories of people who must serve time for murder. They explain what went through their head and what it’s like being locked up.
