Presenter Michel R Dion Presenter Bio Michel is Process Control Consultant at Honeywell Hi-Spec Solutions Pulp, Paper & Energy. He first joined Honeywell in 1992 and is presently working in the Advanced Applications group. His responsibilities include project lead, implementation and commissioning of advanced control solutions for the pulping & mining industry. Michel has over 25 years experience in pulp and paper, specifically in applying advanced control solutions to the various pulping and paper process units. Michel has held a variety of positions in the industry ranging from technical support to engineering manager. Brad S. Carlberg is a Senior Process Control Engineer for Port Townsend Paper Corporation in Port Townsend, WA & a registered, Professional Control Systems Engineer with over thirty years’ experience in Process Control Engineering specifically with Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Human Machine Interfaces combining extensive experience with both Hardware and Software Design, Programming, Implementation and Startup, including Advanced Continuous and Batch Control Programming. Brad S. Carlberg. P.E., CSE brad.carlberg@ptpc.com Brad received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in February, 1984 from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. He joined ISA in 1986 and is a Senior Member. His hobbies include distance running, jazz and blues music, and flying his 1946 Ercoupe 415C Light Sport airplane. Brad maintains his home office in Hoodsport, WA on the Olympic Peninsula & his airplane hangar at the Richland airport (KRLD).
