The Sheep and the Goats Matthew 25:31-40 Suggestions To provide a more contemporary slant to this well-known Gospel passage, adapt this presentation using translations such as The Word on the Street and The Message. We have used a more traditional translation here, to help those teaching or studying RE. As an exercise, you could ask pupils to replace the illustrations with photographs showing contemporary examples of these verses being lived out. If you are using this presentation as part of an assembly you could insert, after slide 10, examples of actions carried out by the school community, eg. marking CAFOD Fast Day, Youth SVP visiting a local old people’s home, etc.
