Mrs. Perez Extra Credit Project Japanese Anime Create your own Japanese Anime character. Be sure to use the characteristics of anime that we discussed in class (Big eyes, big pupils, wildly colored hair, expressive faces. Draw your character into a situation where they are demonstrating one of the seven virtues of the Code of Bushido. On the page you must tell somewhere which virtue you are portraying. The virtue must be written in English and have the Japanese symbol associated with it on the page as well. This can be done using a single detailed drawing, or in a series of frames like a comic strip. Character demonstrates anime characteristics listed above—big eyes, anime styled hair, expressive face. ______of 5 points. Character is carefully drawn and shows considerable time and effort—not sloppily thrown together. ______of 5 points. One of the seven virtues of Bushido is written on the page—both in English and using the Japanese symbol for the chosen virtue. ______of 5 points. The symbol of the chosen virtue and its English explanation are neatly presented—not sloppily thrown onto the paper last minute. ______of 5 points. The picture, or comic strip, has the character doing something that depicts the chosen virtue from the code of Bushido. ______of 5 points. ______of 25 points. Total points
