Instructions Hen #1 Hen #2 Hen #3 The objective of this slide show is to practice placing layer hens. Layer hen placement is based on coloration in the shank, face area, and wing feathers. In this exercise and in competition, the best producing hen will have the least amount of pigment in her shank and face area.
