2015-2016 Regional Meeting Opening Remarks

Kentucky 2015-2016 Fraternal Year Plan Goal Number 1 Jurisdiction in the Order

The Plan

The Strategy Councils Achieve the membership level they achieved last year = 658. Remember we have six new councils helping in that effort. We must also Really go after reactivations. Make a big push in the rcia = 200 Achieve 27 Star Councils. One per district. Pursue insurance quota early

Tactics MEMBERSHIP Schedule First Degrees – If you schedule they will come. Hold One first degree per month in every district. Move members along. Hold second and third degrees. We now have five Conferring Officers. Recruit at all program activities. Use the Trifold for both general recruiting and for RCIA Recruiting. Convince your pastor to put the trifold in the packet of information given to every new parishioner. Be sure to place your contact information on the back of the trifold. Challenge your officers to recruit.

Tactics Insurance New General agent in place – Darrell swope Darrell is aggressively seeking new agents to fill our open slots. Schedule Insurance Nights. Make sure your new members meet with an agent – if you have new members and no agent contact Darrell and he will get an agent to meet with those new members. As officers you must Actively help promote the insurance. To help that effort we are awaiting approval from supreme for a poster to place in all your meeting rooms letting members know all the products and services that are available to them through the Knights of Columbus Insurance Program.

How are we doing? GREAT Based on Data from Supreme – we are on pace with last years recruitment which is the plan. PSD Billy Hancock will have more to say about that. We have had new insurance policies issued but we need to pick up the pace a bit – we can’t wait until late in the year. Hold an Insurance night soon. We have a number of councils tracking well toward star council. Based on my visits to the councils listed below I am confident our program is very strong and we are making a positive impact in our Communities and Parishes. I am very proud of all your good works. Keep it up. 16125 762 10263 6317 4473 7387 817 1315 2459 15914 1004 12502 16232 14604 14993 10263 12965 15699 1377 4665 3379 3908 15979 1955 1764 5634 10682 14234 15181 1487 7831 14130 15707 16125 6101 10962 6897 15681 12774 11591
