#1 All students have a responsibility to do well in school.

#2 Our first impressions about someone are important, and we can tell who a person really is if we pay attention to what we see during that first meeting.

#3 People should slow their lives down enough to pay attention to flowers and ducks.

#4 Most people know what they’re going to do with their lives and are confident about their choices for their future.

#5 Teachers care about your lives and you should trust their good intentions.

#6 Some people are able to be honest and non-judgmental about people.

#7 Relationships with other people should be meaningful. There isn’t any value to be friends with someone if you don’t really know who they are deep down.

#8 Everyone in the world is a phony pretender, no matter how much or how long you’ve known them.

#9 If a kid doesn’t know what he wants out of life, he should do whatever it takes to figure it out.
