To be an Historical Researcher you: Would have to study, assess, and interpret the activities and conduct of individuals or of social, ethnic, political, or geographic groups in the past.
The amount of education I would need is: Is graduate study. A master’s degree in history is the minimum requirement for a college instructor’s position, but the doctorate is much mort desirable and is required in many colleges and universities.
The Amount I would get paid: In the federal government in the 1990’s, beginning salaries for historians with a bachelor’s degree average 14,800 to 18,400 a year, depending on the individual’s academic record.
The place's I could get a job Are: I could get a job at the Halifax Historical Society, Howard Truman Home, Sugar Mill Bitanical Garden and any other historical foundation.
