Theme vs Motif Theme: Motif: the “universal truth” shown in a text a symbolic idea presented in the text

CD Project In groups of 3, you will create a CD based off of the theme and motif presented in a song.

Instructions After you are in your groups, pick a song. Read the song’s lyrics in your groups. Analyze the song’s lyrics and identify one of its motifs and its theme Create a CD for the song based off of its theme and motif.

For the CD, you will need… A cover that represents the theme An analysis of your song’s theme and motif on the inside cover A CD design that represents your song’s motif.
