OFFENSES Let Go and let God!!!!

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN OFFENDED? WHAT IS AN OFFENSE? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN OFFENDED? AN offense REFERS to being annoyed or GETTING A Feeling OF resentment by the act of another person against you intentionally or unintentionally

A person's wisdom yields patience; it is to one's glory to overlook an offense Proverbs 19:11 AS BELIEVERS WE ARE CALLED TO A LIFE OF LOVE AND A LIFE FREE from holding unto offenses.

LUKE 17:1-2 Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should [b]offend one of these little ones.

EFFECTS OF OFFENSES It is the foundation for anger and unforgiveness. Sows seeds of bitterness and opens the door for the devil in your life. Hinders our relationship with the Lord and with people around us. MAKES the church INEFFECTIVE and kills its very purpose for existence. Prevents the expression of love.

OFFENSES LITERALLY AFFECT Memories and thinking Emotions Decisions and actions

JESUS IS OUR PERFECT EXAMPLE!!! LOVE IS THE WAY AND THE CURE FOR THE CORRUPTION OF OFFENSES!!! 1PETER4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins JESUS IS OUR PERFECT EXAMPLE!!!

WHAT MUST WE DO? LET CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU. ITS WHAT IS IN THAT COMES OUT WHEN UNDER PRESSURE. UNDERSTAND THE ROLE OF THE ENEMY AND IGNORANCE. CHOOSE TO FORGIVE.

REMOVING ALREADY CONCEIVED OFFENSES Pray for grace. Be intentional in your actions. Talk it over in love and move on. Pray for the one who offended you.

LET GO AND LET GOD!!!!
