Deut. 6:4-5; Lev. 19:18) Quoted from David, Isaiah, Hosea, etc. But not just selective or superficial knowledge. Knew & could show “the big picture” throughout Scripture (putting it all together) – Lk. 24:27, 44-45

Luke 2:52 At age of 12 in temple (Luke 2:46-47) “His custom” - regularly at the synagogue (Lk. 4:16) Jesus exhibited the deep desire of Matthew 5:6. No formal education (John 7:15), but He still knew! To be like Him, we must know the Scriptures! Matt. 22:29
