Interrogative So Conan had to do some more investigation to discover the truth. He asked the student’s mother. NO, they didn’t. Did Adam plant some flowers? Did Sam hike in the woods? Did Sarah celebrate her birthday? To interrogate using past tens, use Did, and verb in base form.

What did everyone do last week???????? Wh Questions What did everyone do last week???????? To form a wh question in the past, use a wh word (when, what , where, who..etc.) + did + verb in base form. They played computer games all week.
